GRACE.SALVATION.BLESSING

But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.

God out of His love for humankind sent his one and only son, Jesus Christ, and has given us the salvation of our lives because of His son’s death. It is because of this act of love that we are alive till this very day. If not for the grace that God has shown to the human race, I do not know in what state we all would be in our lives. We would all probably be worse than the previous generation and lost our lives completely. But all that did not happen in our lives because of Jesus the lord and savior of our lives.

Why I talk specifically of this grace and mercy and love that God has shown on our lives in this blog is because most of the time this MINDBLOWING act of the God of all creation becomes a FAMILIAR thing in our lives. This amazing event that changed the course of history is many-a-times a common thing in our lives. It is because we have forgotten or to say not really given importance that we live just by the GOOD GRACE OF GOD that we tend to lose our way and end up failing over and over again. Why I can say this so confidently is because the word of God says the exact same thing.

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age.

It is because the grace of God has been forgotten that we fail to receive the teaching that the grace gives to us about basically not falling into sin and the traps of the devil. If you think that this verse was written many years ago and applicable to our lives then can draw your attention to the word “present age” which means that it is in context to the world we live now or to the world many years after now.

We also fail to realize that the ignorance of grace affects all aspects of our lives. You might think 'why I say this' well the reason is that God gave us grace with many FREE items along with it. You see the quality of grace is that it never comes alone it comes along with healing, along with deliverance, along with provision, along with happiness, along with all the other blessings you can ever imagine. That is why the word of God says,
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
 Matthew 6:33
Let me explain what I mean by giving you an example from Mark chapter 2
3 Some men came, bringing to him a paralyzed man, carried by four of them. 4 Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus by digging through it and then lowered the mat the man was lying on. 5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”
 Mark 2:3-5
Here we see that Jesus heals a paralytic man who was brought to Jesus by the man’s friends. Before I tell the next part let me ask you a question. If you are healing someone what will you say? You will say “be healed”. But here we see that Jesus who knows all things saying “Son, your sins are forgiven.” Well, God doesn’t say anything without a reason. So that means if God forgives the sins of a person it can bring healing in that person’s life. What does the forgiving of sins mean? If I have to give a one-word answer it would be "SALVATION".

So that means SALVATION which is given to us by God’s GRACE can bring HEALING. Most of the time we tend to go behind God for healing and all other kinds of blessings. But if we can just count on the GRACE that is given to us then I believe that healing or any blessing will automatically come to us because where there is GRACE there is BLESSING.

In essence, the concept of this blog is that grace brought salvation in our lives and salvation brings blessings along with it. so just hold onto his grace and never forget to thank for that and all other things will follow you. it is a matter of your perspective.

THE CALLING - Know your enemy

As we are in the journey of learning about ‘the calling’ God has kept over our lives, we need to know about our enemy. The enemy is the one who is always waiting to stop us from doing the will of God in our lives. Therefore, we must have a complete understanding of our enemy and his strategies. This will help us to overcome the oppositions and trials on our way that we may stand in our calling till the end.   Under this topic, I am going to talk, in a practical manner, on what are the things that the devil will bring on our way in the walk with God, how he does that and how to overcome it all. Firstly, let’s look into the solution before we go to the problem, but the truth is that you already know the answer to the problem. Well, if you are wondering what the solution is? The answer is- relationship with God. I have already explained in detail about the various aspects of this relationship we are to have with God. Let me remind you of the 3 things that happen in the relationship w...

THE CALLING - How to?

Welcome to this blog as I continue the series 'THE CALLING'. In the previous blog, we saw in-depth about what the calling of God is. In this blog, we are going to see how to walk in the calling of god over our lives. Now that we have understood ‘what’ the calling of God is and some of the important things about the calling of God over our lives, let us go to Matthew 7:21, where we saw Jesus saying that doing the will of God is the only way to enter heaven and If we read further, the scriptures say like this: On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’   But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’ Matthew 7:22-23 Here we see Jesus saying what He meant when He said ‘WILL OF GOD’ in the previous verse. In other terms, Jesus is saying how we are to stand and pursue the calling of God over our lives. In verse 22, Jesus says that just beca...

WHO WAS DAVID?

In this blog, we will look at David as an example so you get clarity on the 5 aspects of your life. David from the bible is a very interesting person. He was called to be king, which is a huge responsibility. Let’s look into these 5 aspects of David’s life and see how they had an influence in his life in fulfilling the calling God had kept over his life. 1.LIKES       David liked to sing to the lord The book of psalms is evidence to the fact that David loved to sing praises to God.       He liked to hang out with friends The bible records various instances when David and Jonathon meet together.  2.DISLIKES       Blaspheming against God David didn’t like when someone blasphemed against the living God. he just hated it and that is the reason why he went against Goliath in battle.        Disrespecting the Lord’s anointed The Bible repeatedly records David saying to people around him that no one is to kill or ...
