JESUS: THE HUMBLE KING

Jesus the centre of the whole bible. He is the king of kings and the Lord of lords. He is the creator of the whole universes and there is nothing created that wasn’t created by Him. He is the author and finisher of our faith. There is no one greater than Him and He is worthy to be praised. Although, Jesus is all of this and more, He still chose to be a humble king. We can see this character of humility in Jesus from the time He was born to the time he dies on the cross. He always chose to be humble.

BIRTH :
Let us look more deeper into the birth of Jesus. Jesus is the king of all universe but He didn’t choose a palace or mansion or any form of luxury when he came to this earth. Rather He chose the opposite of luxury and palace, He chose a simple and plain manger where the lowly live. Not because He is lowly but because in His eyes there is no rich no poor, no great no small or anything of that sort. He loves everybody the same way. He shows this character of humility from His birth that the people who choose to believe him for generations to come will not have a distant relationship with Hm. Rather, He wanted a personal relationship with the people whom He loved and cared about.

DEATH :
Jesus also chose humility while dying on the cross. When Jesus was on the cross, people around Him spat on Him and mocked Him saying if you are the Christ then come down from the cross and free yourself. They said all sort of wrong things on Him and hurt Him a lot. But Jesus wasn’t proud and reacted in His anger or anything of that sort. He chose to be humble and took all of that, although He could’ve done the opposite and nobody could have questioned Him. But he chose the humble way to gain the people with LOVE and not with FEAR.

Today, as you are reading this and if you are not in a personal relationship with this Jesus I am talking about. I implore you to start a brand new personal relationship with the one person who went to the extreme of selling himself, his body and tasted death so that He can get me and you. The one God who bankrupted all of heaven to have you and me for himself. He loves you with all His heart. I just ask of you to give Jesus a chance in your life.

THE CALLING - How to?

Welcome to this blog as I continue the series 'THE CALLING'. In the previous blog, we saw in-depth about what the calling of God is. In this blog, we are going to see how to walk in the calling of god over our lives. Now that we have understood ‘what’ the calling of God is and some of the important things about the calling of God over our lives, let us go to Matthew 7:21, where we saw Jesus saying that doing the will of God is the only way to enter heaven and If we read further, the scriptures say like this: On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’   But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’ Matthew 7:22-23 Here we see Jesus saying what He meant when He said ‘WILL OF GOD’ in the previous verse. In other terms, Jesus is saying how we are to stand and pursue the calling of God over our lives. In verse 22, Jesus says that just beca...
